Free Roadside Waste Collection on Chadburn Road – 18 August 2026

Residents of Chadburn Road in Mansfield will be able to use a free roadside waste collection service as part of Mansfield District Council’s Day of Action on Tuesday 18 August 2026.

All items must be placed safely at the kerbside by 9:00am.

Items that can be collected

Examples include:

• Furniture

• Beds and mattresses

• Household waste

Items that cannot be collected

The Council has confirmed that the following will not be accepted:

• Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials

• Hazardous waste

• Chemicals, solvents or paints

• Gas cylinders

• Clinical or medical waste

• Vehicle parts

• Tyres

• Rubble, soil or building materials

• Commercial or trade waste

• Any materials requiring specialist disposal

Items must not block pavements, roads or access routes.

Council officers will be present during the morning and residents who are unsure whether something can be collected can ask an officer on the day.

This is a useful opportunity for Chadburn Road residents to clear unwanted household items and help improve the local environment.
