Get Involved
Help Us Make A Real Difference
Dignity Alliance is built around people helping people.
You do not need to be an expert to make a difference.
Whether you can give your time, donate essential items, share useful skills, support a community project or work with us as an organisation, there are different ways to get involved.
Together, we can provide practical support, strengthen local communities and help more people when they need it most.

Donate Essential Items
Practical Help Can Start With Something Simple
Some people we support may be experiencing homelessness, hardship or other difficult circumstances.
Where we are running an appropriate appeal, donations may include items such as:
-
food and essential supplies;
-
clothing;
-
socks and underwear;
-
blankets and sleeping bags;
-
hygiene products;
-
household essentials;
-
items needed by people experiencing homelessness;
-
pet supplies where relevant; or
-
other items requested for a specific community appeal.
Please check with Dignity Alliance before bringing donations so we can confirm what is currently needed.
We may not always be able to accept every item.
Where donations are accepted for a specific appeal or purpose, we aim to use them for that purpose wherever reasonably possible.
Support A Community Appeal
Dignity Alliance may organise or support appeals when individuals or local communities have a genuine practical need.
You may be able to help by:
-
donating requested items;
-
sharing an appeal;
-
helping collect or transport donations;
-
offering storage or practical assistance;
-
donating professional services;
-
connecting us with another organisation that may be able to help; or
-
volunteering your time.
Even a small contribution can make a meaningful difference.
